Mk 2

Lindsay, Gary and I took a trip down to Timaru to pick up a motor from Gavin Ladbrook and to catch up with the South Canterbury ZZCC at their monthly meeting.

Gavin and Marilyn were good enough to put us up for the night but the dury is still out if she appreciated us fixing the soround sound stereo equipment at 2:00am

The engine has now been degreased and is ready for painting.

The restoration of Gary´s car is getting very close (however he still believes there is a lot of work to be done!!!).

A night was spent bleeding the breaks and topping up vital fluids : Note brake fluid in the wrong resevoir is not a good thing.

Gary is even threatening to start the motor in the very near future. Not that I have not been threatening to do it for a very long time!!!
